Loretta Genert

Mrs. Loretta Genert (nee Roll), beloved wife of the late Mr. Alan Genert, passed away at St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice in Medicine Hat on Monday, February 21, 2022, at the age of 85 years. Loretta leaves to cherish her memory: four daughters, Lorrie Irwin, Jenny (Dennis) Gyorkos, Pam Haddock (Darren White) and Kathy (Terry) Taylor as well as ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by two sisters, Marilyn Hiebert and Sharon (Emery) Fortin; brother-in-law, Clyde Tucker; three sisters-in-law, Norma Genert, Irene Genert and Esther Lazzari as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family. Loretta was predeceased by her son-in-law, Tim Irwin; parents, Ted and Frede Roll; Alan’s parents, Christof and Margaret Genert; sister, Shirley Tucker and brother-in-law, Bryan Hiebert. Loretta’s life will be honoured and her memory cherished without the proceedings of a formal service.
