MEDICINE HAT, AB – Another Medicine Hat Tigers game has been postponed due to COVID cases on the opposing team.

The Western Hockey League announced Monday afternoon that the Saskatoon Blades are unable to field a complete team. The Blades currently have nine players on the WHL COVID-19 Protocol List.

The Tigers were to host the Blades on Tuesday. No makeup date was announced for the game.

The Blades game on Wednesday in Lethbridge has also been postponed.

Earlier this month the Tigers games against the Moose Jaw Warriors and Edmonton Oil Kinds were postponed due to COVID cases on those teams, and the Tigers had to pause team activities for a few days. Those games have been rescheduled for March 20 and 23, respectively, at Co-op Place.
