Lorne C. Roberts
1946 ~ 2022
Lorne Chesley Roberts, beloved husband of Linda, passed away in Medicine Hat on Friday, January 14, 2022, at the age of 75 years. Along with Linda, Lorne leaves to cherish his memory: son, Kent Roberts (Dean); daughter, Jade Tendler (Roger); grandson, Tanner (Alicia) Tendler and their daughter, Olivia; granddaughter, Talise Tendler (Zach) as well as numerous other extended family and many friends. Lorne was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Sarah Roberts (nee Bremner) as well as son-in-law, Eric Tendler. Lorne was born and raised in Rockglen, SK., where his love of cars had him working at the family garage until 1980. He then moved on to work at the coal mine near Coronach, SK. until moving to Medicine Hat in the fall of 2000 to be near the grandkids. Once in the Hat, Lorne had no trouble finding work and stayed busy until retiring at 67. This provided him with the extra time he needed to tackle woodworking and drawing, a couple of pastimes he enjoyed almost as much as tinkering on vehicles and puttering around in the garage. Lorne enjoyed the simple things in life… time spent with family and friends as well as an ice cold beer! Lorne’s life will be honoured and his memory cherished without the proceedings of a formal funeral.
