1967 – Trevor Wiebe_ 2021
With the blinds open and a glimmer of light shining through, Trevor Wiebe 54, peacefully but suddenly passed away at the Peter Loughead Center in Calgary, on December 15, 2021, from medical complications arising from his Pulmonary Fibrosis diagnosis in September 2019. He battled the disease with the most amazing grace, bravery and strength. He lived everyday with positivity and determination not to let the disease keep him from doing the things he loved. Everyone who knew Trevor knew he was an extremely kind, loving, gentle and peaceful person, and that he never lost his childlike spirit and love for life.
Trevor married the love of his life Sharna in February 1987. They met at the mall walking down the hallway staring at each other. Sharna made a sign for Trevor to call her, and well the rest is beautiful history. Trevor was a loving and dedicated father to his three children, Tyler, Brock and Shaylena, and a very proud, doting papa to his grandchildren, Carson and Noah, who he truly adored. They were the center beam of his life and he gave everything a father/papa could give. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he proudly mentioned often. Trevor put family first, always, and was a dedicated father, papa and husband.
Trevor (also known on the job as “wheels”) was extremely passionate about his work. He was employed with Alberta Aggregates Ltd. where he remained a devoted employee for more than 30+ years, until he could no longer work due to his condition. Throughout his career, he formed many successful, lasting relationships and left an impact on everyone he worked with. Loved ones that cleared the path for Trevor are his sons, Brock (2020) and Tyler (2021), his father Johnny, his brother Kevin, his mother-in-law Karen Denis and his brother-in-law Ken Denis.
Loved ones that will miss Trevor until they meet again are his beautiful mother Jeanine, his brother Travis-Terra and family, his brother Kevin’s children, Kristine-Nathan and family, and Keane. His father-in-law Armand Denis, his brother-in-law Joe Denis and family, and his brother-in-law Allan-Lori Denis and family, as well as so many others.
In the words of his daughter Shaylena, “Dad has transitioned into our newest guardian Angel”.
There will be a Celebration of Life in Spring/Summer 2022.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the family to help cover costs would be greatly appreciated. E-transfer is available to InMemoryofTrevorWiebe@gmail.com (Case sensitive).
