Canadian Pacific hosting virtual ‘Holiday Train at Home’
Canadian Pacific (CP) will once again host its ‘Holiday Train at Home’ concert virtually this year on Saturday, Dec. 18 at 6 p.m. to raise money for North American food banks.
Traditionally, the holiday fundraiser consists of a fully lit train stopping in various cities with musical performances on board. Due to the pandemic and similar circumstances to last year, a concert will be streamed live on Facebook, YouTube, and CP’s website. It will also be archived to be replayed at any time.
“Though we are disappointed we again cannot bring an in-person show to communities along our rail lines, it fills us with joy to bring together such outstanding musicians for a performance that will help feed Canadians and Americans in need,” says CP president and CEO Keith Creel in a release.
Performers will include Canadian Music Hall of Famer Steven Page, The Strumbellas, Tanika Charles, Keb’ Mo’, and more.
