Tanya Dawn Ellis
October 28, 1974 – November 25, 2021
Our Tanya Dawn Ellis was surrounded by love as she courageously leaned into her peaceful goodbye on Wednesday, November 25, 2021. Tanya’s boys will carry on her legacy; Tripp (18), Trigger (16), Niko her furry companion and Tim, the love of her life and husband of 24 years. Tanya was predeceased by her son Jett Ellis (2002).
Tanya is also survived by her mother Marilyn Houff (partner John Reddekop) and father Rocky Houff, brothers, Troy (Teresa) and Travis Houff and Shannon Houff, mother-in-law Lynn Ellis (Terry Ellis +), brothers-in-law Mark (Alison), Greg (Wanda) and sister-in-law Jodi Churla (Mark), along with cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Join us on Tuesday, November 30th at 2:00 p.m. for ‘Tanya’s Happy Ending’ at the Cypress Centre Auditorium. COVID-19 REP protocols will be in place and all guests are required to show their vaccination QR code (with Government issued ID) or a negative COVID-19 test (within 72 hours); masks are mandatory. Guests are encouraged to come early as we will need to review immunization and testing records. Tanya’s unique perspective on life was contagious and her no-regrets philosophy influenced people globally. Whether she inspired you through her online presence or made memories with you in person, she wanted everyone to attend her Happy Ending. You are the reason that her light burned for so long.
The event will be live streamed for those who are unable to attend. You are invited to watch the event by searching for the Pattison Funeral Home Youtube page. The video will go live 10 minutes prior to event time and will remain on our youtube page for future viewing. Donations in Tanya’s honour can be made through performing Random Acts of Kindness.
Rest peacefully Tanya.
