William Martin “Bill”  Kuntz of Medicine Hat, beloved husband of Doreen Kuntz, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 17th, 2021 at the age of 87 years.  Along with Doreen, William leaves to cherish his memory his brother, Tom (Danelle) Kuntz; sister Vivian (Barry) Dooley;  nephews, Christopher, Michael (Andrea), and Charles (April); nieces, Shelley (Brian) Norris and Alice Dietrich; brothers-in-law, Ken (Marilyn) Eirich and Lyle (Mary) Eirich; Doreen’s nephews and nieces, Gerald (Angie) Eirich, Candace (Russell) Digney, and Roxanne (Kim) Eirich; as well as fur babies, Nipper and Sam.  Bill was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Eugenia Kuntz; brother, Ted Kuntz; sister, Anna Dietrih; niece, Mary Williams; and Dave Rozdeba.  Bill was born on June 24th, 1934 in Richmound, SK.  He married the love of his life on April 6th, 1957 and together they began their life’s journey.  Bill farmed for many years as well as working as a diesel mechanic.  He was gifted with a talent for woodwork, carpentry, and construction and was proud to have built three of their homes.  In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing and was especially fond of the time he spent fishing with Doreen. Bill held an unwavering faith in God and rarely missed the opportunity to attend church on Sunday mornings.  He was a friend to all he met and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.  The Funeral Service will be held at VICTORY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2793 Southview Drive SE MEDICINE HAT, AB T1B 2H1, , on Wednesday, November 24th, 2021 at  with Pastor James Bredeson officiating.  Interment will follow at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery.  Friends are welcome to participate via livestream by logging on to the church’s website at www.victorylutheran.ca and joining the live webcast on the livestream tab at the above date and time.  Memorial gifts in Bill’s memory may be made to Victory Lutheran Church.  Condolences may be sent through www.saamis.com or to condolences@saamis.com subject heading William Kuntz.  Funeral arrangements are entrusted to
