1924 ~ Bertha Deibert ~ 2021

Bertha Deibert of Medicine Hat passed away in Calgary on November 8, 2021 at the age of 97 years, beloved wife of the late Earl Deibert (June 17, 2004). She leaves to cherish her memory her son Darryl (Paulette) Deibert and daughter-in-law Diane Deibert all of Calgary and was predeceased by her son Darcy (October 24, 2019). She is survived by five grandchildren, Ryan, Danae, Craig, Michael, and Janine; five great grandchildren, Cody, Grayson, Spencer, Samuel and Francis; two brothers, Bill Bender, Dan Bender and one sister Ruth Fauser. Bertha was also predeceased by her parents, Lydia and William Bender; her brothers Walter and Dave, three sisters Laura, Christine and Martha. A private family graveside service will be held in Hillside Cemetery on Saturday, November 20, 2021. Family and friends are invited to a come and go open house to be held at the Medicine Hat Lodge Saamis Ball Room A on Saturday, November 20, from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. Those who wish to remember Bertha with a donation, may do so to the Alzheimer Society, Alberta and Northwest Territories.
