Florence was lovingly known to many as Gram. Family and friends were everything to her. She loved being surrounded by people and there was always room for one more at her table. Raising eight children on her own required endless patience, inner strength and selflessness. Florence taught her family that happiness is not found in riches but measured in hugs, laughter and love. Florence was renowned for her mischievous spirit, love of games… and her cinnamon buns. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at The Wellington Retirement Residence for their care and compassion. So many will mourn Florence’s passing as she was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, neighbour and friend. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
