1956 – 2021
Claudia Kane passed away in Medicine Hat on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at the age of 65 years. Claudia was born in Port Saunders, Newfoundland on February 2, 1956, a daughter to proud parents, William and Agnes Langer. Newfoundland was home where she grew up in a large family with her brothers and sisters. Claudia made those around her laugh with her fun-loving nature and wonderful sense of humour. In her retirement, she enjoyed doing word searches, reading, watching animal videos and chatting with her sisters. Family meant a lot to her and she always looked forward to the Christmas season as she knew it was a special time to get together with family. Claudia was caring and loving and will be deeply missed by her children, Ronald ‘Ron’ Kane and Melina Kane; grandchildren (from Ron), Madison Rissling, Courtney Rissling and Adrianna Schneider; grandchildren (from Melina), Rayna Lambert and Hailey Taylor; brothers and sisters, Anita Nugent, Jacqueline Langer, Lawrence Langer, Helen Weir, Marie Ryan, Melina Vincent, Jean Gutwein Langer and Peter Langer; a special companion, Fred Scholtz as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Claudia will be silently remembered by family and friends.
