It is with a heavy heart that Peter Hoeppner announces the passing of his beloved wife of 69 years, Mary Hoeppner. Mary passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at the age of 89 years with family by her side at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital. Along with Peter, Mary’s memory will be forever cherished in the hearts of her children: Cathy (Rick), Peter, Ken, Larry (Roxanne) and Betty (Lloyd); six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her sister, Eva Philpott; brother, Eugene Kush as well as her son-in-law, Rick Jensen. Due to the current health restrictions in place, attendance at the service will be by invitation only. A Private Celebration of Mary’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel on Monday, September 27, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Jamie McDonald officiating. The service will be live streamed and anyone wishing to join the family virtually and experience the service can visit our website and select the View Broadcast button on the homepage at service time.
