Gerald Dennis ‘Jerry’ Bowman, beloved partner of Deborah Anderson (nee Draudson), passed away in Medicine Hat on Friday, September 10, 2021, at the age of 78 years. Along with Debbie, left to cherish Jerry’s memory are his daughters, Yvonne (Michael) Repp and their daughter, Jillian and Michelle (Donald) Theriault and their children, Connor and Reese along with their mother, Donna Bowman; Debbie’s children, Bryce (Kerri) Anderson and their children, Jayden, Ethan and Nolan and Tamara (Cody) Anderson and their son, Wesley as well as numerous members of Debbie’s family. Jerry was predeceased by his mother, Erna; sister, Marjery and mother-in-law, Edna Draudson. At a young age, Jerry worked at a telegraph office, moving on to road construction for his father-in-law and worked the majority of his working career at Dominion Glass. Jerry also worked for Cable 10 in filming and broadcasting and in his later years, enjoyed fulfilling his time working at the Homesteader Restaurant and the Chocolate Shop. He played in various bands over the years and enjoyed bowling and singing karaoke. Having coffee with friends and family get-togethers were favourite past times of Jerry’s. He will be remembered for his Elvis impersonations as well as his good spirit, humour, story telling and being the life of the party. Funeral arrangements will be announced upon completion.
