Elections Canada mailing out voter information cards
LETHBRIDGE, AB – Registered electors in Canada will soon be getting their voter information cards.
Elections Canada has begun mailing out the cards, and the agency says all registered voters should receive their card by Sept. 10. They tell electors when and where to vote and include information about the accessibility of their polling station.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Elections Canada notes that some traditional polling stations are not available. The agency stated that, “our priority is to offer safe and accessible polling places.”
More information on where you can vote is also available online here. To ensure you are registered to vote, or to register to vote in the 2021 federal election, visit Election Canada’s website here.
