Alburn Boyd

Alburn Carman Boyd, beloved husband of Thelma, passed away at the Bow Island Health Centre on Friday, August 13, 2021, at the age of 85 years. Along with Thelma, Alburn leaves to cherish his memory: children, Verna Boyd, Maureen Boyd-Turner and Leslie Boyd; sister, Leva (Terry) Olstad and their children, Karyl Olstad and Kelly Olstad as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Melvin and Lucy, Alburn was predeceased by his first wife as well as two step-children, Denise and Victor. Alburn was born in Fairview, Alberta on July 17, 1936. He married Thelma Jackson on May 28, 1975. “We laughed for 46 years.” Alburn’s life will be honoured and his memory cherished without the proceedings of a formal service.
