Wendy Elizabeth Smith, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2021, in the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital at the age of 70 years, following a brave battle with cancer. She was born July 30, 1951, in Calgary, Alberta to Blair Smith and Elsie Boughton. She married Chuck Pattullo on June 19, 1996. Wendy was a strong woman who worked hard most of her life. She had many titles, some of which include, hairdresser, waitress, security guard, taxi driver, prep cook and secretary. She enjoyed her church, Holy Family Parish. She loved to crochet and was particularly fond of Sudoku. Wendy had a passion for animals and had many dogs and cats, too many to mention names. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter Melissa and great grandsons Marshall and Thomas. Wendy is survived by her husband of 25 years Chuck Pattullo; three daughters Jenn (Mike) Bischke, Leah (Dylan) Schmalzbauer, Cheryl Woodworth; nine grandchildren, Alex, Kynan, Austin, Elizabeth, Ethan, Olivia, Samantha, Melissa, Johnathon; five great grandchildren, Mya, Grace, Harmony, Marshall, Thomas and two step daughters, Nicole (Jeff) Denise and Suzanne Ramone; her beloved sister Bonnie Nikiwski, as well as her nieces and nephews. Her wishes were to not have a funeral but a celebration of her life which will be held at her home on August 21, 2021 from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. at 346 10th Street SW.
