Medicine Hat man an Extra big lottery winner

MEDICINE HAT, AB – A Medicine Hat man is $100,000 richer, but just might be accepting suggestions on how to spend his newfound wealth.

Kieron Burgess won the money on the Feb. 26 Extra draw.

“I checked my ticket the day after the draw on the Lotto Spot! app,” he says in a release from the Western Canada Lottery Corporation. “When I saw $100,000 on the screen I was shocked and so happy!”

Burgess says he’s going to take his time deciding what to do with his winnings.

The ticket was purchased at Fas Gas Plus at the corner of Dunmore Road and Carry Drive. Burgess matched the last six numbers on the Extra draw – 4195995.
