City firefighters respond to minor ammonia leak at C.F. Industries

MEDICINE HAT, AB. — City fire crews were called to C-F Industries this morning, as the plant dealt with a minor ammonia leak.
 
The call came in around 5:30, but fire crews remained on stand-by as C-F personnel contained the leak and got everything under control.
 
The fire department was also getting some calls from people in Crescent Heights because the low cloud cover over the plant is also high lighting normal flaring activity at the plant this morning.
