Rose Harder (nee Hintz)

1959 ~ 2021

Mrs. Rose Marie Harder of Bow Island, beloved wife of Mr. John Harder, passed away suddenly at the Bow Island Health Centre on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at the age of 61 years. Rose was born on June 13, 1959. She married John Harder on May 20, 2001. They lived in B.C. for many years before moving to Bow Island where they currently resided in a straw house they built together. Rose’s health deteriorated quickly over the last years but she always kept her sense of humour and spunky, mischievous behaviour. Along with her husband, John, left to mourn Rose’s passing are her step-children; mother, Mary Bachmeier; sister, Irene (Ken) Klassen; nephew, Trevor (Carol) Klassen; niece, Crystal (Adam) McMartin as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Rose was predeceased by her father, Peter Hintz and step-father, Henry Bachmeier.
