Leonard Beierbach
1940 ~ 2021
It is with broken hearts that family of the late Mr. Leonard ‘Len’ Harvey Beierbach announce his passing at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital, on Sunday, February 21, 2021, at the age of 81 years. Len passed away ever so peacefully to be with Marlene, Randy and the Lord. He was born on January 26, 1940, growing up on the family ranch south of the Walsh area. Len later moved into Medicine Hat and worked at the Cos Hotel where he met the love of his life, Marlene. Together they had four children, Randy, Corey, Landon and Laura. Len worked at Superior Propane for over 25 years before eventually retiring to enjoy life. He loved music and was a self taught fiddle and guitar player. Len is survived by his children, Corey, Landon and Laura; grandchildren, Kayla (Steven) Ball-Hughes, Marshall, Carissa, Mitchell and Vincent; great-granddaughters, Mya and Ava as well as a brother, Walter (Marlene). He was predeceased by his wife, Marlene; son, Randy; parents, Gordon and Emma and his brothers, Elmer and Kenny. Len is finally reunited with Marlene and Randy. We know they are having a beautiful long awaited reunion. If you knew Len, you would then know how generous, sweet, kind, loving, patient, funny and tender hearted he was. We will miss his sense of humor, daily visits, love, support, laughter and looking into his beautiful blue eyes. “One day at a time, until we meet again.” Love you Dad. Len’s life will be celebrated privately at Hillside Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made in Leonard’s name directly to the Canadian Cancer Society, 200 – 325 Manning Road N.E., Calgary, AB., T2E 2P5.
