Helen Wilson
1949 ~ 2021
It is with sorrow in our hearts that we, Jordan and Desirea Wilson, announce the passing of our forever loved mother, Helen Justine Wilson on Thursday, January 28th, 2021, at the age of 71 years. Helen will be remembered by all of her children, Billie-Jo, Christine, Derek and Sheila. She will also be remembered by her sisters and brothers as well as numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Chisholm Macdonald; mother, Catherine Wilson; father, Baptiste Roy and her son, George Dumont. Helen had an incredible group of friends in which she developed close relationships throughout the years including her bingo pals, dinner friends and those we may have missed who she knew along the way. She made friends easily with her smileand a laughter that reminded us of a small chickadee… hence her name “chickie”. Her friendships stood the test of time as she maintained many family and friend connections in Maple Creek, SK. Helen will be remembered for her deep desire to not only play bingo, but win at bingo! Besides bingo, she enjoyed crocheting and building puzzles. Her memory will be treasured in our hearts and minds as we wait for the time to gather in her memory and say farewell on her birthday, March 24, 2021.
