Ron Reding

Ronald George ‘The Rocket’ Reding passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at the age of 66 years. Left to cherish his memory are his two children, Ryan and Shardae and their mother, Peggy. Ron was born in Victoria, B.C. on January 23, 1955. Those who knew Ronnie also knew of his passion for the game of Snooker. ‘Rocket Ronnie’ was well known and traveled throughout Canada hustling pool, which was often a topic of excitement for the family. He was touted as one of the best pool players in all of Canada! In 1999 he moved to Medicine Hat where his two beautiful children were raised. This was a new chapter in Ron’s life in which he embraced. He loved and cared for both of them very much. Not a day went by without him being concerned for their safety and success. No matter what he was going through in his life, he always cared about others before himself. He had a caring soul, a unique and creative mind and was loved by many. Ron will be missed by all and is now resting in peace. “We Love You Dad!” Ron’s life will be honoured in silent remembrance.
