Local 4-H clubs getting funds from Farm Credit Canada
MEDICINE HAT, AB – Two Medicine Hat clubs are among the 57 4-H organizations in the province that will receive money from Farm Credit Canada in 2021.
Alberta groups are receiving a combined total of $28,500 from the Farm Credit Canada 4-H Club Fund this year.
The Medicine Hat 4-H Beef Club and Medicine Hat 4-H Multi Club will receive money. The Retlaw Prairie 4-H Beef Club in Taber, the Taber Corn Dawgs 4-H Club and the Tilley 4-H Club are other local groups also to receive up to $500.
“By providing opportunities for young people to learn and grow, 4-H clubs across the country are preparing the next generation for success,” said Todd Klink, executive vice-president and chief marketing officer at FCC. “FCC is proud to support these initiatives and the 4-H clubs that are helping develop our future leaders.”
