Darcey Sheldon Howells of Medicine Hat passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the age of 64 years, loving husband of Carol Howells of 44 years. He also leaves to cherish his memory three brothers-in-law, Gordon (Deidre) Wagner, Bruce Wagner, and Gary (Barbara) Wagner; sisters-in-law, Brenda Nunweiler (Randy Hammel) and Lorraine (Lyle) Bradley; nieces and nephews, Amber and her son Cayle, Michelle, Crystal, Jaime, Jodi, Caitlyn, Cindy (Brian) Sunderlund, Bruce (Kristi) MacDonald, Carla, Shawn, Celeste, Lyle and Carmen. He was predeceased by his parents, Elsie and Russell Howells; Carol’s parents, Harold and Magdalene Wagner; brother-in-law, Darryl Nunweiler; two brothers, Harold, and Lyle in infancy; two sisters, Yvonne and Claire; nephew, Russell MacDonald and niece, Colleen Howells. Darcey was very involved with the Medalta and Top Hat Bingo. The family would like to thank the Margery E. Yuill Cancer Clinic and nursing staff on 4W for their wonderful care. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. (Masks are mandatory). Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant, Pat Grisonich. Family and friends are invited to remotely attend the funeral service by searching for the Pattison Funeral Home youtube page where the video will go live 10 minutes prior to service time. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery. Those who wish to remember Darcey with a donation, may do so to the Margery E.
