We are very saddened to announce our dad’s earthly journey is now complete. He went to meet His Heavenly Father on December 24, 2020 at the age of 102 years. John Joseph Bosch is lovingly remembered by his wife of 77 years, Veronica (Koenig). Left to cherish his memory are his children, Eleanor (Philip) Getz, Dianna (Harvey) Frey, Bernice (Jim) Foley, Shirley (Brian ) Mutschler, Raymond (Dianne) Bosch, Albert (Wendy) Bosch, Janet Brost, Larry (Carrie) Bosch; twenty two grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren and his brother Tony. He was predeceased by his parents Philip and Catherine (Ries) Bosch, sisters, Rose (Nick) Schafer, and Gertrude ‘Gertie’ (Tony) Bosch; brothers, Frank (Lena, Rita), Joe (Ruth) and Raphael and three brothers and a sister who died in infancy; one son-in-law Wayne Brost, a grandson
Craig Getz, a great granddaughter Addison Foley and great great granddaughter Ariel Shorr. John was born at the family homestead at Rosenthal, Saskatchewan. The second oldest of eleven children. Together Mom and dad raised eight children on the farm at Golden Prairie, Saskatchewan. Dad was a hard worker, a farmer all his working life. In 1977, Mom and Dad retired to Medicine Hat. In 2009, Meadowlands became their new home, and in 2019 they moved into the Good Samaritan, where we continued to gather as a family celebrating special occasions. The family gives heart felt thanks to all the nurses and doctors at the hospital on 4 West and St. Joseph’s Home for all the compassionate care they provided for our dad. Those who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. (Masks are mandatory).
