1935 ~ Rose Ulland ~ 2020

Rose Ulland of Medicine Hat, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the age of 85 years, beloved wife of the late Cliff Ulland. She leaves to cherish her memory five children, Dave Unreiner, Ken Unreiner, Betty (Alain) Duncan, Gladys Vyselaar and Corrin (Delvin) Lagasse; sixteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, one brother Henry (Hazel) Drescher and one sister Cora Reider as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Cliff on August 3, 2009; her parents, Maria and Gregor Drescher; one son Phillip Unreiner, seven brothers and four sisters. Rose was born on October 9, 1935 at Prelate, Saskatchewan where she was raised. Throughout her life she held employment at the flour mill, greenhouses and the potteries. On December 7, 1977 she married Cliff and in 1979, they moved to Calgary returning to Medicine Hat in 1991. Rose loved bowling, playing crib and to laugh and joke around. Those who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. (Masks are mandatory). Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private funeral service by invitation only will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. with Life Celebrant, David Townsend. The video will go live 10 minutes prior to service time on the Pattison Funeral Home youtube page. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery.
