Trans-Canada Highway re-opened following afternoon rollover

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Medicine Hat Police are asking motorists to exercise caution on area roads following a single-vehicle rollover on Thursday afternoon.

According to police, emergency services were called to a rollover just before 4:30 pm west of the Box Springs overpass.

Traffic was reduced down to one lane for approximately an hour, however that stretch of road has since been re-opened.

There is no word yet on if there are any injuries involved.

Police are urging drivers to slow down on icy stretches of roads, including decreasing speeds and increasing space between vehicles.
