MEDICINE HAT, AB – A man accused of the second-degree murder of a woman in Bassano was denied release on Thursday at Medicine Hat Court of Queen’s Bench.
Chase Leland Hehr, 38, was originally charged in connection with the homicide of June Rose, 24, on Jan. 25, 2019, three days after the woman’s body was found on Jan. 22.
