1947 ~ Ken Onheliger ~ 2020

Kenneth “Ken” James Onheliger passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020 at the age of 73 years, beloved husband of the late Marion Onheliger who predeceased her husband of 50 years on November 12, 2020. He leaves to cherish his memory two children, Rhonda (David) Hochheimer and Jason (Dixie) Onheliger all of Medicine Hat; five grandchildren, Courtney (Alex), Tanisha, Kade (Ryley), Danika, Chase and a great grandson to arrive in February. He was predeceased by his parents Francis and Thomas Onheliger and his sister Beverly Palko (Jerry). He is also survived by his brother-in-law Ron (Sharee) Janke; two sisters-in-law Leona Damsgaard and Sandra Janke as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ken spent his working career in the oil patch making many friends along the way. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and travelling with Marion. He will be dearly missed for his big heart and helping hands. Love you dad. It’s not goodbye it’s until we meet again. A private service, by invitation only, will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Monday, November 30, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. (Masks are strongly recommended). The video will go live 10 minutes prior to service time on the Pattison Funeral Home youtube page. A private interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery.
