Single case of COVID reported at Dr. Roy Wilson Learning Centre

MEDICINE HAT, AB – A student at Dr. Roy Wilson Learning Centre has tested positive for COVID-19.

Students and staff from the single class affected were notified today and sent home to self-isolate after being informed of the positive result this morning.

The case at Roy Wilson marks the third school affected by a positive case of COVID-19 in the Medicine Hat-Brooks corridor in the last 24 hours after cases were reported at Brooks Composite High School and Redcliff’s Parkside School.

Roy Wilson will continue to be open to staff and students who have not been ordered to self-isolate.
