It is with a heavy heart that Faby Lynn Sullivan (nee Schuetzle), beloved wife of Wayne Andrew Sullivan, announces his passing at his home in Medicine Hat on Thursday, October 8, 2020, at the age of 58 years. He was born on November 30, 1961 in Brandon, MB., to Arnold and Rose Sullivan. Wayne married Faby Lynn Schuetzle on September 5, 2001, in Medicine Hat sharing the past 19 years together. He worked at odd jobs to get ahead until being employed as a mover and then as a cook for the Champion Centre where he formed a special bond with everyone he encountered there. Wayne was kind, considerate and caring. He had a witty and humorous side that grabbed everyone’s attention. Wayne loved his huge family and they all meant a great deal to him. He always said, “heavy on the great”. He enjoyed building fish tanks and entertainment furniture stands, which a number of the family have enjoyed over the years. Wayne was an avid Winnipeg Jets hockey fan and never missed an opportunity to watch the game on TV. He will be lovingly remembered in the hearts of his wife, Faby Lynn; children, Adam (Ashley), Keith (Jerlene), Colin (Kristin), Trista, Theason; grandchildren, Aveaha, Ily, Serenity, Adam, Jewel, Keith Jr., Jordan, Julie, Journey, Gavin, Rexx, Summer, Hunter and Thaxxia; siblings, Barbara, Sandra, Janet, Patrick (Joyce), Larry (Jenny), Garry; brothers-in-law, George (Elizabeth) McDade, Lorne (Sylvia) Schuetzle; sisters-in-law, Sonia, Brenda-Lee, Phyillis, Rebecca, Florence, Linda as well as Marcie, Pam and Angie. Wayne will also be remembered by extended family relatives, Rose, Michael, Lee, Shawn, Nancy, Lorie, Sandra, Jamie-Lee, Daryl, Trevor, Sophia, Paul, Christine, Leah, Curtis as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Wayne was predeceased by his parents, Arnold and Rose Sullivan; daughter, Cassandra; brothers, Richard and Robert; sister, Carol; three grandchildren; four nephews; two great-nephews as well as parents-in-law, Norman and Inga Schuetzle. The Graveside service will be celebrated at Hillside Cemetery on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with Murray Jaster officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are encouraged to gather at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat between 12:30 and 12:45 p.m. to join the procession to Hillside Cemetery.
