1944 ~ Florence Fincer ~ 2020
With great sorrow we announce that Florence Fincer (born in Bucharest, Romania) passed away in Medicine Hat on August 31, 2020 at the age of 76 years. She was a kind, loving mother and grandmother, who extended her love to more than her family. She was a scholar and her work and social contributions inspired many. She leaves to cherish her memory two children, Sergiu (Lydia) Ciubotaru and George (Mihaela) Ciubotaru; her grandchildren, Alexandra, Andreas, and Jason (Danielle). She was predeceased by her parents Livia and Petre Niculescu. A special thank you to Dr. Ajaz Ahmad and the Dialysis Unit staff, Dr. Lysack, Dr. Jeraj, Homecare and Palliative care nurses for their kindness and dedication in caring for Florence in the last 2 years. A private funeral service will be take place in the PATTISON CHAPEL. In lieu of flowers those who wish to remember Florence with a donation may do so to the Medicine Hat and District Health Foundation – tribute to Florence Fincer.
