Aline Laura Greggain (nee Joubert) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice in Medicine Hat on Friday, July 17, 2020, at the age of 75 years. Along with Don, her beloved husband of 52 years, Aline leaves to cherish her memory: children, Michelle (Ken) Wallin, Shane Greggain and Waylon Greggain; grandchildren, Brody Wallin, Payden Wallin, Evan Wallin and Arhianna Greggain as well as her brothers, Albert (Judy) Joubert and Roland (Henriette) Joubert. She was predeceased by her parents, Lucien and Armancia Joubert. Aline was born in St. Isadore-de-Bellevue on June 3, 1945. She was a teacher in Prince Albert for 20 years. Aline’s hobbies included knitting baby blankets, slippers and dish cloths and enjoyed sewing quilts and clothes, cooking and baking… cinnamon buns made her famous! She also enjoyed reading Danielle Steele romance novels, camping, fishing, playing cards (especially ‘Kaiser’) with her family as well as listening to Elvis Presley’s music, her favourite being ‘Love Me Tender’. Aline loved clothes and fashion jewelry, especially earrings. She had a strong devotion to her faith. Aline was a very kind and generous person who was always willing to help those in need. Her greatest pride, was her family: her husband, children, grandchildren and siblings with whom she loved spending time with. Aline loved her family more than anything and was always giving to them. She will be deeply missed! The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 1401 – 4 Avenue West, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan on Friday, July 24, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. with Father Roque Concepcion celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Louis Cemetery. Due to restrictions in place from the Chief Medical Officer of Health regarding COVID – 19, funeral services are now limited to no more than 60 attendees. The family would like to thank everyone for their understanding. Masks are required.
