Brooks project gets funding through Emissions Reduction Alberta
A project in Brooks that will allow for the detection, visualization and quantification of gas leaks will receive $1.6 million from the province.
MultiSensor Canada says the project is “affordably making the invisible measurable.”
MultiSensor says there are two parts to its work: A relocatable camera site assessment system for quantifying tank emissions over a period of days and weeks, and permanently installed, cloud-connected cameras with automatic leak detection and alarming.
The funding comes from Emissions Reduction Alberta’s Natural Gas Challenge, which invited technology developers to share project concepts for innovation opportunities in Alberta’s natural gas industry.
