With heavy hearts, the family of Mrs. Sharron May Taylor, beloved wife of Mr. Donald Taylor, announce her sudden passing at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Monday, June 22, 2020, at the age of 71 years. Sharron was born on December 9, 1948, in Medicine Hat, the oldest of five children born to Michael and Bernice Richter. She grew up in Buffalo, Alberta and Bassano, Alberta surrounding area and completed high school in Bassano. On July 16, 1993, Sharron married Donald and they resided in Medicine Hat before they made their final move making their final home in Redcliff, Alberta. Sharron worked at various jobs throughout her life in the accounting field to which she made many friends before her retirement. She enjoyed nature, spending time with family and the simple things in life. Sharron had a kind and gentle soul and will be deeply missed by her husband, Donald; children, Carmen (Brent) Worobets, Tonya Taylor, Kirk (Sylvia) Taylor; grandchildren, Michael Woods, Erin Woods, Hazel Taylor and Tessa Taylor; father, Michael Richter; sisters, Coreen (James) Sheardown and Vicki Fode as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Bernice Richter and brothers Calvin Richter and Darcy Richter. Out of respect for our friends and family, a small private celebration by invitation will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dr. Shane Andrus officiating. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
