1990 ~ Shane Weisgerber ~ 2020

Shane Luke Weisgerber of Sylvan Lake, formerly of Medicine Hat passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at the age of 30 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his mom and dad, Irene and Ed Weisgerber; his brother Larry (Alana) Weisgerber and his sister Sandra (Jason) Greene all of Medicine Hat as well his nieces and nephews, Sydney Bartram and her daughter Amelia; Taylor Bartram, Matthew Weisgerber, Robert Weisgerber, Bret Greene and Chad Greene. Shane was born on April 4, 1990 in Medicine Hat and graduated from McCoy High School in 2008. Shane became a Red Seal Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment Technician in 2010. After he received his ticket he moved to Sylvan Lake where he worked for several companies in the area before he started his own business as a contract mechanic in 2015. Shane was a fun loving guy who enjoyed being around his friends. Shane loved sledding, fishing, biking, boating and music festivals. He loved to be the centre of attention and everyone loved to be around him. Shane was a treasure and was loved deeply, and though his addictions took him before we were ready, we are forever grateful for the time we had with him. The day Shane died a part of us died with him. He will be missed every single day for the rest of our lives. A private family funeral service was held in the PATTISON CHAPEL.
