Two-goal nights for Kemp, Sillinger lead Tigers to victory in Moose Jaw
MOOSE JAW, SK – Posting 30 shots in one game is something many teams around the WHL struggle to do on a nightly basis, but the Medicine Hat Tigers aren’t like most.
On Saturday night in Moose Jaw, the Tigers were relentless on Warriors goaltender Brock Gould with 30 shots over just the first 20 minutes in a 7-5 victory on the road.
Brett Kemp and Cole Sillinger each had a pair of goals in Medicine Hat’s third consecutive victory, while defenceman Damon Agyeman netted the first WHL goal of his career.
Coming off a 5-3 comeback victory at the Canalta Centre on Friday night, the Tigers gave up an early Moose Jaw goal for the second straight night with Cade Hayes scoring his first of the season 56 seconds in.
