Medicine Hat Man among 4 people killed in crash

4 people killed; six others injured in early morning crash on Highway 36 south of Vauxhall

VAUXHALL, AB —A 29 year old man from Medicine Hat was among the 4 people killed in a highway crash near Vauxhall. He was a passenger in a van that collided with a pick up truck on Highway 36, south of Highway 875 at approximately 7:15 this morning.

Two other people in the van were killed. The driver was a 26 year old male from Camrose and another passenger, a 25 year old man from Edmonton.

The driver of the pick up truck, a 31 year old man from Saskatoon also died.

Six other passengers of the van remain in hospital. Two sustained life-threatening injuries, one is in serious condition and the remaining three passengers sustained non-life threatening injuries.
