Mrs. Clara Heidinger of Medicine Hat passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at the age of 84 years, beloved wife of the late Mr. Edwin Heidinger. Clara leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Patti Heidinger of Toronto, Ontario. She was predeceased by her husband Edwin Heidinger on December 15, 2011; her parents, Daniel and Lydia Sackman and her three brothers, Fred Sackman, Chris (Irvina) Sackman and Clarence (Georgina) Sackman. Clara was born on June 10, 1932 in Irvine. She and Edwin were married on November 26, 1949 in Medicine Hat. Together they made their first home in Redcliff and then in 1959, moved to Medicine Hat. Clara was a devoted wife and mother and will be greatly missed. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday from 12 noon – 12:55 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark Bolender officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery.
