Andrew Paul Schaan of Suffield, passed away on Tuesday April 4, 2017 at the age of 81 years, surrounded by his family. He leaves to cherish his memory five children, Randy Schaan, Darrell Schaan (Yimei Hu), Valerie Bouvier (Rick Young), Russell Schaan (Hilda Wetzel) and Jeanne (Ron) Nolin; eight grandchildren, four great granddaughters; two sisters, Margaret Rutherford and Annie Dengler as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Lillian and Christian Schaan, stepfather Anthony Schaan, four brothers, including his twin brother Fred on July 15, 2015, Chris, Bill and Clem; five sisters, Lena, Barbara, Olga, Lillian and Loretta; great granddaughter Grace Bouvier-Brettnell. Andy had a special bond with his twin Fred who he has missed deeply since his passing. He really missed going to the Tigers games with him which they were avid fans of for over 40 years. Andy loved camping, fishing, travelling, music and had a great love of humor and telling his knee-slapping jokes. He will be missed by so many. A Come and Go Celebration of Life will be held at Whiskey Creek (937 13 St. SW) on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.
