Raymund “Ray” Riehl of Medicine Hat, truly beloved husband of Nancy Riehl, passed away on Friday, April 14th, 2017 at the age of 61 years. Ray was born in Lethbridge, Alberta on July 8, 1955. Along with his wife Nancy, Ray is survived by his twin sister Debra (Jim) MacLellan and their daughters Tracy-Lynne, Courtney (Fiancé Kyle) and Katrina. Also surviving are two step daughters, Jesse Lynn (Leighton) and Rachel, as well as two step-grandchildren, Ethan and Amy. Also left to remember Ray are Nancy’s parents Allen and June and her brothers Ray (M’Liss), Jim (Janine), Colin (Katherine) and sister Kate, and their families. Ray was predeceased by his mother Renate, in 1992 and his father Albert in 1999. Ray was a hard worker, holding three Red Seal Journeyman tickets in welding, automotive and heavy duty mechanic. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE Medicine Hat, AB T1A 1Z5, on Friday, April 28th, 2017 at 1:00 pm, with Pastor Jim MacLellan officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. Memorial gifts in Ray’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
