Carol Sekerak
1938 ~ 2017
Carol Diane Sekerak (nee Ward) was born on December 14, 1938 in Guelph, Ontario and went to heavenly home on May 1, 2017, at the age of 78 years. Carol was a wonderful wife and stay at home mom who loved her family dearly. She knew her way around the kitchen and enjoyed to cook and bake pies for her family. Carol had a sweet tooth and loved her candy! She loved the sound of music and kicking her heels up dancing. She will be remembered for her dry wit and great sense of humor and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Carol is survived by her loving son, David; a sister, Mavis Heming of Guelph, ON; two brothers, Syd Ward of De Winton, AB, and Lionel Ward of Port Moody, B.C. She was predeceased by her husband, Hank Sekerak; son, Stephen and a daughter, Theresa. Carol’s life will be celebrated at the Island of Hope (Bow Island Community Bible Church), 810 – 4 Street East Bow Island on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Larry Dye officiating.
