Jacqueline “Jacquie” Rose Stuber of Medicine Hat, passed away in her home on Monday, July 31st, 2017 at the age of 60 years. Jacquie leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Amie (Clint) Blundell of Paradise Hill, Saskatchewan; her son, Tyler of Calgary; and their father, Lloyd Stuber. She is also survived by Lloyd’s brother, Bruce (Donna); and Lloyd’s mother, Anne. Jacquie will also be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Eileen Hall, Linda Deering and Wendy-Ellen (Bruce) Nittel. Jacquie was predeceased by her parents, Jack and AnnaMarie Faller; her brother-in-law, Harvey Deering; her nephew, Blaine Nittel; and Lloyd’s dad, Syd. Jacquie’s memory will also be cherished by her nephews, nieces, many cousins and friends. Jacquie was born on March 30th, 1957 in Medicine Hat. She was educated at St. Louis, St. Mary’s and graduated from McCoy High School. Jacquie was very involved in school sports. If she wasn’t playing; she coached. As a high school student, she coached the St. Mary’s Girls Softball Team and the McCoy Jr. Girls Basketball Team. She received a basketball scholarship to Medicine Hat College. What Jacquie missed in height was more than made up for with her athletic ability. Jacquie spent many years playing Ladies Fastball where she excelled on the ball diamond and made many friends. In the past few years she took to throwing a different ball as she took up the sport of 5 pin bowling. The Graveside Service will be held at SAAMIS PRAIRIE VIEW CEMETERY, 5160 Gershaw Drive SW, on Wednesday, August 9th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating. A Come and Go Reception will follow at Panorama Lanes, 820 – 6A Avenue SW. Memorial gifts in Jacquie’s memory may be made to Save Old Souls, P.O. Box 272, Redcliff, Alberta, T0J 2P0.
