Debra Ann Klettke

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debra Ann Klettke on Saturday, August 12, 2017, at the age of 63 years, beloved wife of Bernie Klettke of Medicine Hat. She leaves to cherish her memory one son Chad; ten siblings, Linda (Reg) Jackson, Bonita (Richard) Lewandoski, Keith (Judy) Schnell, Barrie (Deb) Schnell, Bryan (Heather) Schnell, Donna (Bertrand) Schnell, Steven (Wendy) Schnell, Mark Schnell, Arnold Schnell and Murray Schnell as well as numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Barbara and Kasmer Schnell; her in-laws, Dorothy and Wayne Klettke; one sister-in-law Crystal Reimer and a niece Shenaya Klettke. Deb loved to cook and always had a couple of books to read on the go. She loved camping, fishing, riding with Bernie on his Harley but her greatest passion were animals. Deb was well known for her big heart, her generosity and how she welcomed everyone with open arms. Deb passed away after a short but courageous battle with cancer and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. An informal celebration of Debra’s life will be held at Whiskey Creek, 937 13th Street SW (Creekside Reception room) on Monday, August 21, 2017, between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the “Halo” c/o Southern Alberta Medic Air Society, #12 49 Viscount Ave SW, Medicine Hat, AB T1A 5G4 (Please make cheques payable to Southern Alberta Medic Air Society).
