Bradley George Penna, beloved husband of Laurie Penna, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice in Medicine Hat on Monday, August 13, 2018, at the age of 51 years. Brad was born in Mankota, Saskatchewan on September 23, 1966, a son to proud parents, George and Donna Penna. He was raised and received his primary schooling in Mankota before attending SIAST. Brad liked working with his hands and enrolled in the Machining course in which he excelled…. it was his passion! He was a machinist in Regina for seven years before relocating to Calgary and most recently, Medicine Hat in 2014. Brad enjoyed hockey and was an avid Detroit Red Wings fan. He also liked all types of music and watching movies. Brad was well liked and deeply loved by his family and friends and will be remembered by his wife, Laurie; parents, George and Donna; brother, Jody (Pearl) Penna; Laurie’s daughter, Jenna Jans; nephew, Tyler (Jenna) and their children, Trinity, Maverick and William and a niece, Krista; his second parents, (aunt and uncle), Wilda and Wally Penna. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and extended family. Brad was predeceased by his son, Dylan Penna. A Celebration of Brad’s life will be held at the Meadow Lark Village Clubhouse, 119, 1600 Strachan Road S.E., Medicine Hat , Alberta on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. (Condolences may be expressed by visiting www.cooksouthland.com) Memorial donations may be made directly to the charity of one’s choice.
