Esther Muhlbeier of Medicine Hat, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at the age of 87 years, beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Muhlbeier. She leaves to cherish her memory her two children, Karen (Kent) Weiss and Greg Muhlbeier; one grandson Derek Muhlbeier all of Airdrie; three brothers, Herbert Martin of Medicine Hat, Marvin (Mirijke) Martin of Calgary and Melvin Martin of Medicine Hat; three sisters-in-law Inez Muhlbeier of Medicine Hat, Olinda Haynes-Berkan of Regina and Doris Martin of Medicine Hat as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Bertha and Christian Martin; her husband Bill Muhlbeier, and one brother Ben Martin. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the church on Tuesday, from 12:30 – 1:25 p.m. The funeral service will be held in Temple Baptist Church (606 7th Street SW) on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Daryl Martin and Rev. Robert Findley co-officiating. A private interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery.
