Kenneth “Ken” Franklin Knoll passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at the age of 70 years, beloved husband of Anne Knoll of Medicine Hat. He was predeceased by his parents Margaret and Lorenz Knoll and two brothers Jack and Larry. Ken was raised a Saskatchewan boy in Sedley and began work at a very young age. He worked in custom combining at the start of his work life and moved on to Schindle-Bazin to work in oilfield construction. From that point on, most of his work life was spent in the gas field as an operator in the Medicine Hat area. He was a man who never missed a day of work. He was loyal and dedicated to his work and family. He raised two kids who were a source of great pride. In 1984, after meeting Anne, two more children were welcomed into his life. Over the years he had eight grandchildren whom he enjoyed dearly. He loved all things outdoors, including camping and fishing. His dogs, Dixie and Ginger were his daily companions whether at work or play. The memories his family treasures will be everlasting. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Iqbal Khurshid officiating.
