Mrs. Maria Petrehele of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Aurel Petrehele, passed away on Wednesday, January 30th, 2019 at the age of 89 years. Maria leaves to cherish her memory one son, John (Flora) Petrehele; and three grandchildren, Florin, Gabriel and Victor. Maria was predeceased by her husband, Aurel Petrehele; her son, Petre Petrehele; and her parents. Maria was a very active woman who enjoyed crocheting and walking. She was a very loving grandma for her grandchildren. A Time of Remembrance for Maria will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE, on Sunday, February 3rd, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Bob Church officiating.
