Gordon Leroy “Gord” Holt of Medicine Hat, beloved husband of Shirley Holt, passed away on Thursday, May 2nd, 2019 at the age of 76 years. Gordon also leaves to cherish his memory his son, Brent Holt; daughter, Karen Holt (Guy); thirteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Henry “Hank” Holt and Ronald Evans; and his sister, Barbie Evans. Gordon was predeceased by his parents, Glen Charles Holt and Claire Gibbs; and by his two sons, Kenneth Gordon Holt on September 21st, 2000 and Bradley Douglas Holt on September 21st, 2015; and his sisters, Glenda Sarikas and Debbie Evans. Gordon was employed as a pipefitter for 50 years and was a proud member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 496. A Celebration of Gord’s Life will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, AB on Tuesday, May 7th, 2019 at 2:00 pm with Gary W. Goran officiating.
