It is with profound sadness that the family of Brian Critchley announce his passing while at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, AB., on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at the age of 79 years. Brian is survived by his loving wife, Eleanor; children, Douglas (Christina), Kristine (Steven Noordhof) and Kevin (Susan); grandchildren, Konnor (Trista), Hannah, Danielle and Samantha as well as Steven’s children, Ella and Brady and one great-granddaughter, Lexi. He is also survived by a brother, Richard (Maggie); brother-in-law, Gordon (Marion) Bateman; sister-in-law, Barbara (Dennis) Beifus as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Brian was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on September 10, 1939. He married Eleanor Bateman on July 8, 1961, and together they were blessed with three children. Brian was a wonderful husband and the best father to his children and grandchildren.

A Celebration of Brian’s life will be held at Victory Lutheran Church, 2793 Southview Drive S.E., Medicine Hat on Friday, May 31, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. A time of fellowship will follow in the church hall with a private family interment thereafter.
