William "Bill" Prosser

William “Bill” Ralph Prosser passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019, at the age of 66 years, surrounded by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife and best friend for 42 years, Sandra; three children, Amity (James) McBride, Kristy Prosser (Joel Wardle), Kyle (Deanna) Prosser; his grandchildren, Anika, Deaken, Zachary, Zoë, Ariel, Conrad and Gabriel; two brothers, Larry Prosser and Gerry Prosser; one sister, Valerie Evangelos. Sandra’s family: Elsie (Ken) Sillak, Don (Carol) Schnell, Geraldine Packard, Allen (Ang) Schnell, Terry (Janet) Schnell, Randy (Cathy) Schnell, Tim (Lori) Schnell, Rob (Colleen) Schnell as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Zina Prosser. Bill was born on December 22, 1952 in Lethbridge. His family moved to Medicine Hat where he lived the remainder of his life. He was a loving husband, father and papa. Bill enjoyed golfing, horseshoes, dice games, the cabin in Cypress Hills and spending time with family and friends. In his early years he worked at Trans Canada Pipeline, Dom Glass, Hogg and Associates, Fischer’s Plumbing and Heating, and in 1976 he began his career at Ogilvie Mills (ADM). He remained there until they closed and due to ill health he retired. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Art Hildebrand officiating.
